About The Market

Baildon Farmers Market is a Community Interest Company and is run for the benefit of the community, with any profits going back into the market. The market is run by volunteers, with just one paid member of staff who supports the volunteers on market day.

Get in touch if you would like to volunteer or for another reason.

The Farmers Market is held on the fourth Saturday of the month from February to December (though December sometimes varies to fit in with Christmas festivities) in the lower Ian Clough car park. See our dates for 2022, or view a map to help to get you there.

At each market, shoppers from Baildon and beyond get to meet the producers and growers of the food they buy and taste free samples. There’s usually live music and always fun for the kids with a different bingo trail every month (prizes guaranteed!).

There are on average 25 traders whose stalls display sourdough bread, cheese from the Dales, fresh and smoked fish, herbs, plants and oils, locally grown fruit & vegetables, cakes, jams and preserves, venison & game and much more besides. You’ll also see seasonal stalls like strawberries, rhubarb and asparagus. If you would like to be considered for a future market, please complete an application form.
